It was a real pleasure painting these 2 portraits. Since these were surprise wedding gifts, and they were to be hung next to each other, I planned them out accordingly. The split in the background colors lines up, the clothes they are wearing is the same except for the coloring of it, the mood and expression are similar, and the undertones of earthy orange and pink on both of them. In addition to this, Kenn was super easy to work with. Translated that means that he gave me great direction, several good photographs to choose from, and once the painting started he let me do my thing if you will. So much fun this project was.
