One day Greg decided to go searching for the right art for his law firm. He was looking for something vibrant, colorful and abstract. So in the process of his search he happened upon my work, and it wasn’t too long before we were making decisions, creating 3 new abstract paintings, and hanging them in his office. One of the fun parts of this project was that I got to create new paintings for a new space with a new client. Often when I paint, I don’t have those parameters. No particular space, and no particular people to consider.
I do like this challenge though, as it messes with, and adds dimensions to my process. And in this case, Greg & Stacey were super good to work with. “We are thinking of something about "this big" for this wall, a lot of pink, but we don’t want a soft subtle pink, if you know what I mean.” This kind of talk. Of course they had seen other abstract paintings I had done, so the rest was left up to me. Excellent clients who are now collectors, super fun paintings, and a project that was a pleasure from start to finish.
